Holiday Inn Sioux City by IHG

This is an very nice place to stay. It's clean and decorated with awesome black and white photos of time long gone. It might be a difficult place to sleep if the trains are blowing their horns like they did while we were there. But the rooms are comfortable and it is a convenient location with a great restaurant!

Bar Louie is connected to the hotel and is a nice restaurant with good food, drinks, and service. That Kyle guy knows how to cook a good burger! Holiday Inn staff were great. They set me and my mom up in a nice clean handicap accessible room and made sure we were taken care of. Mom and I went outside to smoke and found a local wildlife resident lol. A cute little furry bat hanging out on the wall. There was some construction outside but we didn't hear anything inside. The pool and hot tub were nice and open till 11pm. Kudos for the hotel to keep them open late. Most hotels close their pool areas around 8 or 9 and people miss out on that amenity. I'm glad we got to relax in the pool and hot tub before we went to bed. Because of that, I slept like a rock!

Clean rooms and comfy beds. Pool was pleasantly large considering some hotels we have stayed at and it also had a hot tub area. Restaurant area is under renovation so breakfast area was small but clean. Food was fresh - my only complaint was that frozen drinking water bottles were inside the juice and milk to keep it cold, which was gross to me- other than that it was fine. It does seem to be in an older part of town near the historic area but it felt safe to us. Side note - there is a neat little drive thru coffee shop right alongside their parking lot that was perfect for coffee on the go when we left.

Stayed there overnight while working in Sioux city. We recently switched to this hotel and we couldn't be happier. The rooms are clean the beds are comfy. The breakfast is very good for a hotel breakfast. There's a pool and fitness center. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Very pleasantly surprised. From the outside this looks like an old hotel. I got a very good rate, so I was expecting it to be dated inside. Instead I got a great room. Apparently it has been remodeled. Also I checked in early and the manager was very helpful and friendly in helping get me into a room that was ready. I definitely recommend this location.

Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast has a wide variety and is beautifully presented. Not thrilled with the coffee flavor. Rooms have some age but are very clean and maintained. Was expecting microwave with fridge. However, microwaves are available for $10.

Very comfortable suite. It's worth the extra few bucks. Very nice jacuzzi tub. A large refrigerator for a hotel room. The furniture is mid century modern. Easy access to the interstate. Will check out breakfast in the morning. The pool is indoors and has adult only hours. Close to the Hard Rock Cafe and the Tyson Center. And for the person who couldn't find the fridge. Well, you have to open a door. Sorry you weren't smart enough to do that.
